The River is a worship service every Sunday at 5pm in our historic sanctuary. Focused solely on Jesus—knowing Him, learning from Him, and becoming more like Him—we come together to create a vibrant faith community. With powerful music, prayer, and a compelling message, you’ll be empowered and challenged for the week ahead.

When you walk into this service, expect to be greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in. Walking into a lightly lit beautiful sanctuary with worship music playing to greet you into the worship space. We open by dimming the lights, opening with worship music to a powerful and meaningful message that will stay stuck in your head through the week. You will leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and encourage in your walk with Christ!

Bible Walk: 40 Day Challenge

What Is the 40 Day Challenge?

The 40-Day Challenge is a simple, intentional invitation to spend time in Scripture every day for 40 days, paired with a gentle movement goal.

Each day, participants are encouraged to:

  • Read one Scripture passage or short devotional

  • Walk up to one mile, as they are able

You don’t have to be a Bible expert.
You don’t have to walk a full mile.
You don’t have to do it perfectly.

The walking portion is optional and flexible — walk a mile, walk a little, or don’t walk at all. The heart of the challenge is showing up daily and creating space for God through Scripture, reflection, and prayer.

Join Us for the 40-Day Challenge at St. John’s

We invite you to take this Lenten journey with us! Join us every Tuesday, February 17 – March 31, at 9 AM and 6 PM (come both times or just one!) in the Sanctuary where we will gather for:

  • A gentle walk around the sanctuary for those who wish or simply sit in the pews

  • Scripture, reflection, prayer, and fellowship

Whether you walk, sit, or move somewhere in between, you are welcome.

Come for one week or come for all — let’s journey through these 40 days together.

Middle school and high school friends—this one’s for you! Join us for weekly Bible study at Wild Brew where we’ve created space for honest conversation, questions, and faith that fits real life. Come hang out with Tyler and Paul, grab a drink, and explore what following Jesus looks like right now, alongside friends who are figuring it out too.
