Imagine More: 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering

June 26–July 2, 2027 | Minneapolis, Minnesota

St. John’s is making plans for the 2027 ELCA Youth Gathering, and we’re looking for young people and adults who would like to join us! Held every three years, the ELCA Youth Gathering brings together thousands of high school students and adult leaders from across the country for an unforgettable week of worship, learning, service, fellowship and fun.

Participants will hear inspiring speakers, experience high-energy worship, explore their faith in new ways and connect with other young people from across the ELCA. It’s a chance to ask big questions, grow in faith and experience what it means to be part of the larger church.

Imagine More

The theme for the 2027 Gathering is Imagine More, inspired by Ephesians 3:20:

“To God — whose power now at work in us can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine.”

The theme invites young people to imagine more for themselves, their faith, their communities and the world around them — and to discover the ways God may already be at work in their lives.
